Local musicians will once again grace the stage of Loveland’s Historic Rialto Theater in support of Bio-Diversity conservation. The evening begins with a short presentation about Idea Wild. The entertainment includes the acoustic guitar work of Boulder singer/songwriter James Faulk, as well as the Hard Rock sound of Ft Collins based Autumn Burn. The show culminates with a headline performance from Theater Rock band Prymal Rhythm who brings a unique element to their performances including multi-media and a taste of Rock Shows of yesterday.

A portion of the proceeds from the event go to Idea Wild, a local non-profit organization that empowers biologists all over the world who work towards conserving the precious bio-diversity of our planet. Idea Wild founder Wally Van Sickle says “we are pleased to have the support of local musicians and the community.”

SongPlanet.com, an internet radio station focused on independent music from all over the world fits right in with the global and yet local feel of the show, promoting local music with local sponsors for world wide benefit. SongPlanet.com DJ and Prymal Rhythm drummer Zjhok the Rock spearheaded this idea last year and the result was a great show for a great cause.

Show your support for your Mother earth by getting advanced tickets at $15 available online at www.PrymalRhythm.com or the Rialto Theater box office. Day of the show price is $17 so order early. “Hundreds enjoyed last years event and we are expecting a sell out this year” says coordinator Zjhok, “ we have a great lineup of music, and some cold beers from New Belgium Brewery to top it off.” For more information on Idea wild go to www.IdeaWild.org

Vote For Calendar Girls

Prymal Rhythm has just finished the upgrade of our new website, thanks to our webmasters John Dinkel and Dangerous Dave Steinlage. The new site features a memebers only section that will allow you access to discounts, specials and exclusive content.

Right now, you can join up and vote for you favorite Prymal Rhythm Calendar Girls. Thats right, the preliminary competition is over and now its time to vote for your favorites. We will be accepting online voting through May 13th and the winners will be announced at the SongPlanet Saves The Planet Show that benefits Idea Wild on May 15th. It is not the "fault" of corporations, the world bank or the illuminati. We must act! Commit to the action of kindness, charity and respect. Apply this on an individual basis and the truth of your intent will create miracles. The government cannot "legislate" LOVE! Those who ask government to do it for our own good, merely lack the confidence and belief in themselves to act. This is your Freedom, you must make the choice now, as the next opportunity to respond may be one of reaction to anothers law. You may be told to "fall in line" because you chose to let another make the decisions for you. Your unresponsiveness is just as well an agreement. Make your choice today and Take back your Freedom.

Light and Love to all, Doc Prymal

New Web Experiences

So, as our ever changing and expanding journey in the music business grows and begins to shape, mold and transmogrify, I find myself obtaining tools, talents and abilities that I would not have pursued most likely if not for the band project.

My newest talent and toy of sorts is Dreamweaver web editing software. We have finally got a great website that is totally updateable, expandable and open for the band to put in the content we want to have, and all at the perverbial drop of the hat. Our web guru Dave Steinlage has given us the setup and has schooled me in the basics of updating and maintaining our site. Very cool. You should check out Dave's Tech Support at www.DavesTechSupport.com We may be re-isolated in a different yet similar form, or we may be recycled parts used to create new life. All of these theories support many common beliefs. If our spirit were used to inhabit another entity, that would explain past live regression and the concept of reincarnation. I lend some credence to the idea that we may along with others be reused as to form an entirely new life. I think man in his separation allows his ego to distort the natural order, and while we are isolated we embrace the idea that we are not a part of the whole, but whole within ourselves. This is understandable by denying the truth and accepting that lie we can tolerate the isolation. I find many religious beliefs hypocritical, to believe we will return to God and yet retain our individuality, while in this state, seems more a rationalization rather a reasonable belief. If we are indeed reunited with God wouldn’t it seem better to embrace that unity than continue the frustration of separation.

James gives more insight to his MIND

If at the end God picks some to be in his heavenly choir and they live in his light forever singing songs of praise for eternity, that will probably be because that is what they conceive heaven to be. I on the other hand would find that an absolute Hell. He would probably cast me into the abyss (from the choirs’ perspective) of playing my Les Paul very loud at a party with my other “sinner” Friends. We might even be doomed to having endless philosophical discussions. Now to some this would be Hell, to me it would be Heaven. So it is in this human existence, what some find pleasing, others abhor. If in the end we become one with all and are totally serene I will be good with that. Because we are all, in my option, parts of the separated whole I am sure that I will find (or be given) the exact place I belong. This includes my body returning to the dust that it was made of to perpetuate the natural order. I may offend some here, but the idea of isolating my physical vessel from the rest of nature in a coffin would be, to use a common term, purgatory. I would not be, as I was, yet not allowed to become part of the natural order, to be recycled for the benefit of the whole. To me the end of human existence should be rejoiced as ascension, instead of being ego driven by those around us as a loss to be mourned. I admit that we do suffer personal loss by the death of a loved one, but if we accept we are part of the greater whole we should mourn for those of us left behind still isolated from the whole. I believe that the universe, God, the natural order to be the same, and as mankind we lead an isolated frustrating existence, knowing we are a part of a greater whole that in this moment we are separated from. That does not exclude the concept of reincarnation, it is more evidence of it. Just as trees are born, live, and die, the fact is they become the fertile soil that promotes new life. So we to become the “soil” both physically and spiritually for new life. Just as we are separated yet still part of the whole, we may return in other forms as new life.

More Thoughts from JD

I most certainly missed many valuable ideas because I insisted on others conforming to my exact vocabulary structure. I wish I had been wiser and less vain. It is a common problem among those who do think to believe they have figured out more than others are capable of, so we doggedly cling to our meanings of words. It is a travesty to write off valuable insights of others because of our own limitations. Another point I would like to express now is that I spent most of my time pursuing carnal pleasure instead of seeking fulfillment for my “soul”. I keep feeding my body and staving my soul. That is why I ask tolerance for my inability in communicating the revelations I am having or recently had. I denied for years what I knew to be the truth because I did want to face reality and accept what I thought I wanted wasn’t even close to what would give me real satisfaction. On the whole, whether it is through genetics or environment, we have accepted our own individual beliefs. Until it became overwhelming, I continued to believe that certain things were merely coincidence and had nothing to do with the natural order. I am gifted and instead of appreciating that it was a gift, I thought I knew everything and no one else had a clue. Let alone the fact that there was a higher power who allowed us free will yet held us accountable for our choices. That does not mean I think there is a great Day of Judgment when we will have our noses rubbed in our mistakes. I believe it is more that we are in a constant state of learning and there is a much more immediate cause and effect, action and reaction, which is a growth process. Of course there may be some finally quiz over the lesson of life to see if we “got it”. But as for eternal damnation, that would have to be relative to the individual.

James Dangers Thoughts

While reading this remember that I don’t know anything. Some is written from what I believe or my perspective and some is truly inspired. I interchange many terms because I believe them to be different names for the same phenomenon. I will give you some examples of general groupings. I am not dictating what you should believe, that is your choice, I’m just presenting concepts, ideas, as well as food for thought and some food for the soul. That is an example of terms I may interchange. The things of man, food for thought, evil, temptation, the work of the devil, are not necessarily the same but they fall into the same general category. Those are all things of this world and don’t get hung up that I think thinking is evil or that mankind is inherently wrong and a plague or disease to the bloodstream of the universe. I believe we, as all life, are created by the seed of Life, light, God, the natural order, the life force. Once again those terms I group together because I don’t want you to get hung up on terminology. I don’t know the name of God, so I use familiar terms in an effort to communicate ideas. I will not presume to know which is correct, I am just in hope that you will allow the terminology, and reach for the content and not judge the syntax. I am after only human and though from time to time I am fed by the Source, I also interject my personal observations. These observations may be in total discord with your beliefs. But if you will overlook my humanity and read for content and realize which is inspired and what is opinion, then you will understand that I am admitting I know I know nothing, but from time to time am given real insight. My purpose is not to offend anyone and if I use terms, which for you are diametrical opposed, please feel free to substitute a term of your own choice that represents the overall concept. It took me along time to free my mind enough to do that very thing. Someone would use a certain word with relation to a concept that pushed my buttons, instead of letting it go as part of humanities flaws in their attempt to communicate, I would debate the use of the word and lose track of the concept. I often derailed very insightful and meaningful communication by distracting the individual with rhetoric until the whole point was lost. I have since made an attempt to listen for the content and accept the fact that we used different terms for the same idea. I hope you will do the same and grasp the principle concept, instead of shutting off your mind because I didn’t use your terminology.

Zjhok Hits The Reset Button

Many times in our lives, the pressures of society, work, relationships and all the influences that life has upon our spirit take its toll. Most of the time we can deal with it on a day to day basis and we might get a headache, get sick, get angry or whatever. However, on the rare case that the shite piles up so high and heavy that it crushes your potential life, you must remember to HIT THE RESET BUTTON.

This happened to me several years ago. I was doing my thing in my job of 12 yrs, making a good living, had money to spend on cool stuff and trips etc. I was not wanting in the financial arena at that time. Then, out of nowhere, 3 days before Christmas, with no warning whatsoever......I was laid off from my job. YIKES... I was PISSED, sad, worried, scared and all of the emotions you might think of when something like that happens. What was I going to do? How would I pay my house payment, buy food and pay my bills?

I began to think of solutions to the problem but all I kept coming up with was frustration. More worry, more questions. So, it was evident to me that I needed a total reset. Ctrl-Alt-Delete to use the vernacular. I realized that the true joys of life, the truly meaningful things in my spirit were not at all attached to the job, money or comfort level I had grown accustomed to over the last decade. The truly spiritual things could not be found while on that quest. So, I decided to take a radical approach to solving my current dilemmas.

I got on my motorcycle and began a sojourn, a sabbatical of sorts in order to find my true path. An opportunity to RESET. I roughly planned an outgoing route that would take me south in order to get out of the cold winter riding that was currently evident in Colorado. I headed South to Arizona to see some family I had not seen in many years. My cousin JD Falk and his lovely wife Mikki. This was just one stop on the journey to re-connect with family.

My ride took me through Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, North and South Carolina, all the way out to Cape Hatteras, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas and back home to Northern Colorado. I logged 7,291 miles on my motorcycle and saw some of the most incredible scenery the USA has to offer. I re-connected with family I had not seen in more than 20 yrs. Some of them have passed on now and that trip was the last time I was able to see them. I also met new people across the US that opened their homes, their wallets and their hearts to me.
I had lots and lots of time on the bike by myself to just BE. I thought about a lot of things when I first started riding, then as the miles passed, my mind became one with the journey, one with my spirit and one with the universe. I was on the road for over a month solid. I spent a lot of nights sleeping under the stars in a beautiful corner of the planet. I was lucky to spend some nights with family and I spent some nights with new found friends. Most of the time however it was me and my spirit sharing the journey.

I returned from my journey with a new LIFE....a new found passion for existence, a truly appreciative look at what is really important. I started my own business when I came home in order to allow me to follow my dream. A dream that was put on the shelf many years ago in order to "do the right thing". A dream that I had re-kindled on my trip. The dream of music. In all forms in all way. Drumming, Native American Flute and so much more......MUSIC.MUSIC, MUSIC.

I have many stories from this trip and will share some of them with you in future BLOGS. Mostly I wanted to remind you all to hit the reset button. Sometimes we have to be kicked in the ass in order to facilitate the process of the RESET...but it is and has been the best experience in my life.

Keep on Dreamin'
Peace, Love and Light
Matt "Zjhok" Unger

James Danger's last Brain CELL

Every time I think I have the answer, it only leads to more questions. Every time I think I have completed my task, I realize there are more things that need to be done. Some people are content to ride the merry-go-round. It’s safe and secure because it’s redundant. Those people like schedules and routine, they have no desire to see beyond the horizon. I am happy for them and a little jealous. I can’t imagine what gives them pleasure, they get up at a certain time, do their morning chores, eat breakfast, go to work, return home to their planned evening, go to bed, knowing tomorrow will be the same. None the less, the majority of people live this kind of existence, and for the most part appear to be comfortable and secure. I guess, for them that equates to happiness. I have made a couple attempts at being normal, I would get into a relationship with a “normal” woman, who would convince me that part of the good life was to settle down, get a good job, and watch the world through television. Looking back, it was my fault this didn’t work out. I would quickly progress through the ranks at work, accumulate material things, and quietly start preparing for death. Once I even bought “death insurance”. I don’t see why they call it life insurance, when the only way you collect is to die. Eventually I would go stark raving mad, and do impulsive things which would disrupt our stability, they would eventually leave because they were afraid things wouldn’t work out. If life has taught me one thing it is that things always work out, it’s the natural order. They may not work out the way we planned, but they wok out in one way or the other. I guess that’s why I like the roller coaster. I am bored to death when I know what I am going to do each and every day, over and over. I have always landed on my feet and the end of an adventure does not disappoint me that it is over, it leaves me eager to begin the next. Maybe there is a great plan to the universe, if so I am doing what I am supposed to be doing no matter how bizarre it appears. Maybe we manifest our own destinies, with our will power, and once again I am where I am destined to be. Or maybe the universe exists in chaos. This is exciting to me, but frightening to most. It’s the click, click, click of the roller-coaster being pulled up the biggest hill and the thrill of knowing it’s to late to turn back, and the only way out is to ride it to the end. Sure the car may plummet off the tracks and you to your death, but at least its fun while it lasts.

JD Barlow
jamesfbarlow@mail.com

Greetings Earthlings

"Greetings Earthlings, we have been monitoring your planet for quite some time, interesting behaviors and very troubling thought processes." What will your reaction be when you personally experience the shattering of your consciousness. It was 1969, nearly 40 years ago that the first human walked on the Moon! We actually did it 8 more times, and left some interesting 4-wheel drive tracks there as well. Our technology has changed the world and beyond. Scientists may now be worrying about the eventual return of the tons of space debri spinning like a garbage ring about our planet. What are we going to say, who will we blame and when will we accept responsibility as individuals, for our continued choices. When you "Take back your Freedom"! stand up for yourself, Judgement day comes for only one man at a time, when you close your eyes for the last time, it will be your choices, your actions or lack of that will be relived by you and only you. No political affiliation, no membership, no credit card will sway the facts of your mission. To quote from the 1st album, (Prymal Rhythm Take One), "can you hear the Angels Cry,when asked for news or reasons why, there was no responce from man so blessed... We failed to pass the test, can you hear the Angels cry? I can hear them." Thought for the day, but could take a lifetime. Love and Light to all of the Blue planet.

Step into the minds of the Prymal Rhythmacists

Welcome one and all to what will quickly become one of your favorite blogs. It’s wonderful when everything is always fresh and new. I think that is part of seeing with child eyes. If you get to the still point in your mind, where you are completely centered and then just live in the moment you can return to your child state. I know it goes against what society wants or believes, but I don’t care. If the grownups want to make life difficult to live in, and then be miserable living in it, they can. But that doesn’t mean I have to conform to their misery. In the Child State, you get to see the world you want to and when you do see it that way it is your world. Who’s to say that by seeing it the way you want it to be that it doesn’t become that way. A chance to decide which material things you really want, and someone who really loves you.

Your reality is based on the way you perceive it to be. What is real is what you believe it to be. You can chose to see an unfortunate incident as a disaster that you worry about, and let it control your reaction to it. Or you can view the event with child eyes and explore it like a new adventure therefore grab the positive, learn a lesson or just go with the flow and move on. The way you perceive things is how you deal with life. Maybe you can’t completely manifest your reality, but you can change the outcome. For example you have an unfulfilling job, so you aren’t happy and only make a mediocre effort, you do just enough to complete your assigned tasks. Then because of this you are fired. There are several ways to perceive this. You can do what society wants, panic and let the fear take hold of you. You can worry that you won’t be able to pay your bills, lose your home, maybe even your relationship, your very way of life this line of thinking may manifest those exact results. Let’s go with this scenario for a moment. If all that does occur you can live in despair and feel your life is ruined. On the other hand you could look at the positive and realize that you are free of a job you hated. All the material possessions that you got once you can get again. If the person you are with bails you can see that they didn’t love you, but what you had. Therefore you are lucky to be rid of these awful burdens and be free again to build a new life filled with a satisfying career, a chance to decide which material things you really want, and someone who really loves you. If you had seen it immediately as a blessing you could change the outcome, get renewed from it as positive event, and instead of letting it control you and ruin your life, take immediate action to move forward toward things that will bring you happiness.

Too many times we settle for the routine we are in and live in quite misery believing this is as good as it can be. When you learn to grab the positive in any situation you feel good about yourself and as a positive person you influence those around you to be the same. The fear was ruling you long before the event occurred. If your child eyes were open all along you would have seen what was going on and taken steps to change your situation before the incident ever occurred. You would have quit the job and started creating your new life sooner. That I the leap of faith to believe that what you feel is right is right for you. The faith defeats the fear and allows you to take positive actions first, instead of being put in the position of reacting to circumstances. Society has built this trap and works hard to maintain control of the individual and fear is their primary weapon.

JD Barlow

Allow myself to Introduce Myself......James Danger

I live in a bubble. Currently I have been out of work for a over year (playing in the band in just that...playing) and by the grace of God alone I am surviving. All my life it has been like this. I don’t know exactly why but as long as I believe that ‘it will all work out’ it does. This is what gamblers call luck, religions call faith, and I call life. I have had the most wonderful time being alive. Don’t get me wrong it’s not all a walk in the park; I’m what is defined medically as bi-polar. Most people believe this condition to be a curse, I on the other hand love the roller coaster. When I’m down I swim for the bottom because I know the lower I go the higher I rebound. For the record I have a high IQ, not just a little but way out of bounds. I do understand that there is a fine line between genius and insanity.

Recently I was talking with my lawyer and I told him of my current delusional state. He reassured me that what some call delusional other record as visionary. That is of course is my bubble. I have many great friends, and I know to have good friends you have to be a good friend. I’m not so lucky with relationships as I will detail throughout this adventure. I do believe that life is just that... an adventure. The only thing certain is change. I have had several critics intimate that the format I have written this is not acceptable, I drift in and out of style and write primarily first person. Because this is my perspective I believe it to be the best way to relate these events and ideas. I may in later revisions decide to change this belief, but I feel that literature has changed forms many times during its evolution and if this is another change it may be for the better. In my opinion it is you the reader who decides, by accepting or rejecting new ideas. In fact I believe at times the “I” in this work will become the ‘you’ who is reading this and hopefully we will merge in cosmic conscience thought. Once again I reiterate I may have had a psychotic break and in my delusional state accept things to be real which are not, by the constraints of this universe,, possible. But I believe that if we get in tune the very substance of this work will become a conscious stream and it will be in fact your ideas presenting themselves for affirmation.

JD Barlow

Clear Channel Radio, Ringtones and more......

The sun rises on "Another Day In Paradise" for Prymal Rhythm and their fans.
